AJN Neill Interiors is a family-run decorating practice led by Aaron Neill — painter and decorator. We work with homeowners, interior designers and developers who want a finish that survives close inspection and is built to last.
Our story
A working life spent perfecting one thing.
My name is Aaron Neill. I'm a painter and decorator with 28 years' experience, and I learned the trade in my family business working alongside my father.
I take great pride in my work and in the attention to detail that goes into every job — for me there's nothing better than seeing the finished result and knowing it's been done right.
The core of my work is full-house interior painting and decorating. Alongside that I offer exterior painting, wallpaper hanging and removal, wood staining, feature wall design and skim coating. I'm also trained in Venetian plastering and have applied it on a number of projects over the years — a hand-polished finish I genuinely enjoy working with when the space and the client call for something different. Every job is carried out by me personally.
I cover Uxbridge, Northwood and Ruislip, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, Rickmansworth, Watford, Maidenhead, Windsor and Henley-on-Thames from my base in Hillingdon. Most of my work comes from client referrals — I focus on one job at a time so it gets my full attention.

Surfaces prepared, not painted over
Every wall is filled, sanded and primed before a single drop of finish coat. Preparation typically takes longer than the painting itself — that is the difference between a finish that lasts two years and one that lasts ten.
Trade-grade materials, never trade-show specials
I'm happy to work with premium paints and finishes such as Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Paint & Paper Library when clients ask for them.
One craftsman, one job
You deal directly with me. I carry out the work myself and focus on one project at a time, so it gets my full attention.
